AMBERIF SELECTION 2020 – AWARD FOR CHILLI IRENEUSZ GLAZA

My pendant, Dark Shadow, made of dark-rhodium-plated silver, Baltic amber, and cubic zirconia, received the President of the Gdańsk International Fair Co.’s Award in the AMBERIF SELECTION contest.

AMBERIF SELECTION is the new name for the previously called MERCURIUS GEDANENSIS contest. Awards are consistently given in two categories: DESIGN AND JEWELRY MASTERY. At the International Amber and Jewelry Fair AMBERIF, which this contest accompanies, the pendant Dark Shadow, designed and made by me, received the President of the Gdańsk International Fair Co.’s Award in the DESIGN category.

“The jury highlighted the amber in a modern form – technically perfect, clean, and contemporary.”

Dark Shadow was made of dark-rhodium-plated silver, which contrasts with the yellow, transparent Baltic amber, further accentuated by the use of cubic zirconia. The pendant is the result of combining advanced technological tools and manual craftsmanship.
