Mercurius Gedanensis 2002
Gold Medal in the JEWELRY MASTERY category for S&A Jewellery Design for the work Golden Ring for Luck. Design and craftsmanship: Ireneusz Glaza.
It was a very interesting challenge. The idea was inspired by a charming piece of dark amber, which had a lot happening inside it. Therefore, the setting had to be simple and elegant to highlight its unique beauty. Hence the idea for yellow gold that harmonizes well with the color of the amber. To introduce a bit more contrast, I incorporated stripes of white gold on the sides. The attention is also drawn to the white cubic zirconia set in the amber. The ring was entirely handmade.
